Learning New Guitar Strumming Techniques

Learning new interesting guitar strumming techniques is a great thing to do if you want to stand out from the big crowds of average guitar players (or wannabes).

One of my favorite and in my opinion the coolest technique a newbie should try to learn (as soon as the basic guitar strumming patterns do the job) is the beginner's funk strum.

A good strumming lesson should start with the beginning, teaching you the proper acoustic guitar tuning (by ear), the basic patterns, and then introduce you to some easy techniques, that you can learn step by step and then take your time to practice.
